Our Lefty QB - The next Steve Young

When it comes to sports (and academics), Brayden picks up things quite easily. Before he was 2, he learned his alphabet, could count to 14, and can memorize just about anything including songs, phrases, etc. He can easily dribble a soccer ball while running, hit a baseball both off a tee and if tossed to him, hit golf balls, shoot a basketball.....and throw a football.

Frosty the Snowman

This past Saturday, Windemere put together a Breakfast with Santa event. Rather than wait for an hour in line to take a picture with Santa, we opted for a 20 second wait to take a picture with Frosty. Brayden was a bit shy. I guess you can't blame him. Most 2 year olds could get a bit spooked when a 6ft tall snowman with a pipe in his mouth approaches him. He seemed to warm up to him (excuse the play on words) later on, and even gave Frosty a high five as we left for home.

Holiday Celebration with Friends

The Radley's were kind enough to open up their house for their friends on Sunday, for a holiday celebration. We're fortunate to have such wonderful friends. We look forward to our kids continuing to play with their kids as they grow older. Here are some pictures from the gathering. (Unfortunately, Emma Rae couldn't make it due to her first cold.)

1 Sticker + 1 Two-Year Old = Vandalized Baby's Forehead

Brayden loves to play with stickers. Emma Rae loves to sleep. If we turn our backs, these two things don't go well together. Brayden managed to "share" a sticker with Emma Rae's forehead. Good thing she didn't wake up! 12/10/07

Hey Look, I'm a Bridge!

A daily routine for Brayden is playing with his Geotrax trains. Thanks to our wonderful friend Leanna, who gave him his first Geotrax setup, we've managed to acquire a lot more tracks, bridges, and trains. Now, all we need is a $300 Pottery Barn train table! Time to scour craigslist.org.

Here are images of Brayden the Train Conductor and Brayden the Bridge.

Our beloved Redskins got their lunch handed to them by the rival Eagles today. Blowing a 20 point 4th quarter lead is just plain horrible. Our consolation came in the form of our wonderful kids. Brayden is showing what a great big brother he is. Let it be known that if someone messes with Emma, Brayden is going to lay down a canawhoopass on them.

Don't look now...I'm 2 weeks old

Baby Emma Rae has hit the two week mark. She's doing well and is just under her birth weight. Brayden is doing well with her too. The only issue he has is not knowing his own strength when he tries to give her love and kisses, or hold her hand. This photo is not a staged shot, but I conveniently had the camera in my hand when Brayden was holding Emma's hand.
